Accessibility Statement
According to an amendment to the regulations dealing with Internet accessibility, this website is exempt from the accessibility requirement.
We have invested a lot of time and effort in making the Mamon website accessible since the beginning of its construction. The website is fully accessible in accordance with Regulation 35, T.I. 5568 for the accessibility of websites and Wcag 2.0. We chose the AA standard. On this page we will detail the tools and methods I used to make the website accessible, as well as an explanation of how to contact us if there is a need to fix a problem or improve accessibility.
The website was made accessible in the following way:
1. Adapting the website to all types of modern browsers (i.e. all except Internet Explorer).
2. Adapting the website to all types of platforms – mobile, tablets and desktops.
3. Adapting the website to use a keyboard only.
4. Adapting the website to people with partial or complete visual impairments.
5. Adapting the website and the content on the website to people with partial or complete hearing impairments.
6. An accessibility plugin was also installed.
In order to make the site and its content accessible, the following changes were made:
1. Changes and tests to the site to make it suitable for all browsers and all platforms (responsiveness).
2. Adding access keys in a way that does not conflict with natural keyboard actions and ensuring that all parts of the site can be reached with a keyboard only.
3. Checking color contrast, adding explanatory text to each image on the site, including in the various guides, adding labels to various forms.
4. Adding subtitles to the various video guides or a textual explanation of what the video contains.
The tools I used to test accessibility are:
1. The accessibility standard itself as detailed on the W3C website.
2. The test criteria as listed on the Israeli accessibility website.
3. Manual scanning of the site’s source code.
4. Using WAVE – to check the contrast on the site, to check the site structure and to do a general scan according to the WCAG2 standard.
5. Using the AC Checker tool to obtain final validation of the site and its various parts.
6. Using the Evalura tool to manually check the various points.
It should be noted that the Mamon website deals with technical guidance. Naturally, some of the content will only be understood by those with a technical background and sense. It should also be noted that the Mamon website is a very old website, with hundreds of articles, lessons and additional content and we may have missed something.
If there are any accessibility problems, I would be very happy if they contact me. You can contact me via email: [email protected].
